Proud mom moment! For his 4th birthday, my son asked to make something with me. There's only so much a kid can do at that age, but he was involved in every step of the process. He designed the piece completely by himself and was very particular about the glass he chose. I even had to have @rural.glass.design bring us indigo glass to complete the rainbow. He learned about proper PPE and got to try using running pliers, foiling, applying flux, and polishing his finished project. I can't wait to do more with him as he gets older. He had such a great time!
